How the workmanship guarantee works

"Guaranteed" only means something when you know what's covered, for how long, and how to make a claim. This page explains it in plain language.

What the guarantee covers

The workmanship guarantee covers the quality of Silverstone's installation and construction work: things built square, fastened correctly, flashed and sealed properly, and finished to the scope in your proposal. If a defect traces back to how we built it, we come back and make it right.

How long it lasts

Warranty length depends on the type of project — a roof, a fence and a basement development carry different terms. Your signed proposal states the exact duration and coverage for your project, and that document is what governs. We put it in writing precisely so you never have to rely on what a website says.

Manufacturer warranties pass through

Materials carry their own manufacturer warranties — shingles, siding, decking, flooring and hardware. Those warranties are registered where applicable and passed through to you, on top of the workmanship guarantee on the installation itself.

What it doesn't cover

Normal wear, storm and impact damage, settlement outside our scope of work, changes made by others after handover, and maintenance items (like staining a wood deck or clearing gutters) sit outside the workmanship guarantee. Storm damage may be an insurance conversation — we document it honestly either way.

How to make a claim

Call (587) 581-0198 with your name, the project address and photos of the issue. We review it against your proposal, inspect where needed, and schedule the fix. One point of contact, start to finish.
